Double Feature Episode Online!

It has been too long, time flew by, and we have not posted a new recipe in almost three weeks.
Everything is good around here, it has just been busy...kids in school, Deb in NY to shoot Law and Order, and many more things have been happening; if you read the Bon Appetit Feedback Page, you well know what we’re talking about, and where this little project that started just for fun is bringing us.

Yesterday though, with all of you in mind, we made up for our extended absence and self-taped a mini-menu to celebrate the arrival of fall. The Episode came out too long to fit the average 10 minutes length that many of the video-hosting websites impose...therefore we decided simply to split it in two separate videos, and today my friends, you get two brand new recipes at the same time.

The menu:
Appetizer - Bruschetta with Sausage, Brie Cheese and fresh Herbs
Main course - Minestrone, Organic Vegetable soup
Wine - in consideration of the actual status of almost everybody’s finances we opted for an extremely affordable bottle of Santa Cristina. This young and thin wine is incredibly appropriate for a lunch, being very light but still truthful and honest; it is the kind of wine you get by the glass in Italy, usually with a sandwich or a pasta dish on the go.
